“BMF: Black Mafia Family” S1E3 Recap: Tensions Increase Between The 50 Boyz
Starz’s scripted hit series BMF: Black Mafia Family returns for their first season with each show premiering each Sunday night starting on September 26 at 8 pm. The show revolves around Meech and Terry, two brothers who created the Black Mafia Family, the best outstanding drug distribution chain in the history of America.
On the last episode, Tensions increased between The 50 Boyz and their competitors, which created consequences. Lamar told false information so he can eagerly approach the throne.
This week Meech meets with Pat about being behind and he gives Meech six days to get caught up or else. Pastor Swift prays for Terry at the house. Terry told Meech they should start splitting the profit 50/50, but Meech broke the news of having to pay Pat in six days. The 12th street boys meet up to converse about how they are at war because Jay Mo is missing and Filmel got beat up badly. Lamar takes control of the meeting. After the 67’ riots white folks left Detroit to go to the suburbs. In 1973 Detroit elected its first black Mayor, Coleman Young who started the drug fight. So in the 80’s when the State Boys joined the drug fight, Young wouldn’t let the patrol inside city limits. That caused the state to unite all law enforcement around the city. Meech and Terry started making money in the downriver communities in Detroit when it was the murder capital. Terry and Meech met up with the food truck guy to negotiate to sell drugs out of his food truck in exchange for a permit and money. Meech gives a free sample of crack to someone in the strip club to spread the word. Now, The 50 Boyz is actively selling drugs out of the food truck. Meech told Terry that Dink shot Jay Mo. Meech dropped off the money to Pat and saw he was using the drugs. Lamar met Kato in the bathroom at Terry’s party and Lamar locked the bathroom door until she told him what he wanted to know. Charles and Lucille argued and Charles left and gave her the keys to the house. Meech knocked at Monique’s door to warn her about Lamar not knowing Lamar was in the house. Lamar came to the door and Meech and Lamar shared foul words. Meech pulls his gun out on Lamar. Monique screams at Meech and pulls Lamar from the door and shuts it. Meech left and realized that you can not trust people if they mess with someone you don’t mess with because they are in danger.
