9th Annual Big Hat Business Brunch To Raise Funds to Feed 100+ Families

DURHAM, NC – Laticia Nicole Beatty had a vision in 2013 to feed 1,000 people during the Thanksgiving season. Since then she has fed over 20,000 people through her nonprofit, Purposed Professionals, Inc

On Saturday, September 10 at noon, Purposed Professionals will host its annual fundraiser, the Big Hat Business Brunch, now in its ninth year. The funds raised will help feed hundreds of families in need providing food to be distributed on Nov. 25, in time for Thanksgiving.

This fundraising event is open to the public but limited to 50 business owners from the Raleigh-Durham area. It will be held at Ruth Chris Steakhouse, in the Renaissance Center, Hilton Garden Inn (7007 Fayetteville Rd, Durham, NC 27713). Ruth Chris is again the premiere sponsor for this fundraiser.

feedThe Big Hat Business Brunch will feature three dynamic speakers: Erica Perry Green – CEO, Shero Publishing, Kimberly Winborne – President, Kimberly H. Winborne LLC, and Rhonda Cozart – President, Jewels Outreach Inc. Along with Laticia Nicole Beatty, the speakers will exhort the group of business owners to help their community. Marketplace Ministry is the theme.
