Kwame Collection, first got its start twenty years ago in the country of Ghana, by Ghanaian native, Benjamin (Kwame). Kwame is an experienced artisan, craftsman, and curator of authentic Ghanaian and African goods. His vast knowledge and experience of African culture are beautifully showcased through the immense variety of hand-picked and excellently curated items showcased in his boutique. After establishing Kwame Collection in Ghana, Kwame made a big move to the United States to share his wealth of knowledge and African culture throughout the country.
Kwame opened the first Kwame Collection boutique in Delaware. Kwame Collection would be located here for a year before venturing to a new state to share more of the beauty of African culture. The next stop for Kwame Collection would be Greensboro, North Carolina. Kwame brought a wide array of authentic African items and knowledge of African culture right here to North Carolina. While located in North Carolina, Kwame Collection would become one of the premiere African Boutiques of the Triad, offering an experience unlike any other to patrons. Kwame Collection would then make its next move a few years later to its newest and current location, Westfield Wheaton Mall, in Maryland.
