Dr. William Logan Named 2023 Wells Fargo North Central Region Principal of the Year

DURHAM, NC – Dr. William Logan, Principal of Hillside High School, has been named the 2023 Wells Fargo North Central Region Principal of the Year.  He is one of the state of North Carolina’s nine Regional Principals of the Year. The surprise announcement was made at Hillside High School today (Dec. 19) by selection committee officials. Dr. Logan was surrounded by staff, students, and central administrator well-wishers. 

“Dr. Logan’s commitment to students is evident throughout the school. He is not just a principal. He often takes on the role of father figure to many students. He checks on students in and outside of the classroom and makes sure they know that he’s always in their corner. Those relationships are built and maintained even after students graduate. That’s the mark of a great leader,” said Dr. Pascal Mubenga, Superintendent.
