Congressman-elect Don Davis Announces Kim Mack as NC-01 District Director
Snow Hill, NC – Congressman-elect Don Davis (NC-01) issued the following statement announcing Kimberly Mack as District Director. Mack will begin official duties as District Director on January 3, 2023, working in Congressman-elect Davis’ District office.
“I am pleased to appoint Kimberly Mack as my District Director,” said Congressman-elect Davis. “Kim knows the district, is entrenched in the community and has the knowledge and insight required to meet the moment and to help address the quality of life challenges our families in eastern North Carolina are currently facing. I’m honored to have her join this team to help ensure NC-01 has everything it needs to thrive.”
Kim Mack most recently served as the Special Assistant to the President for Governmental, Community, and College Affairs and was Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees at Halifax Community College. Mack previously served as a research assistant for the late Majority Whip, North Carolina Senator Jeanne H. Lucas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from North Carolina Central University and a master’s degree in public administration from East Carolina University, where she serves on the East Carolina University School of Public Administration Advisory Committee. Mack is a proud lifetime learner pursuing her doctoral degree in education at North Carolina State University.

Davis will be sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives to succeed Congressman G. K. Butterfield on January 3, 2023, at noon.
