NC Triangle Alphas Host Second Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament 

RALEIGH – N.C. Triangle Alphas (NCTA)’s second golf fundraising event expects to attract golfers from across several states to financially support local African American and African Diasporic high school graduates in pursuit of higher learning and other initiatives. 

AlphasOver 125 golfers attended last year’s event. There will be first, second, and third place for women and men; and first and second for mixed teams. Major “hole in one” prizes including a new car will be available. 

A golf clinic conducted by Winston Holloway, the golf pro at Hedingham Golf Club, will also take place during the tournament. There will be three sessions for any skill level: 3:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
