JUST IN: Durham Police Investigate Shooting on Broadway Street

DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men injured on Broadway Street on Thursday afternoon (Oct. 12).

At approximately 12:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Broadway Street. When officers arrived, they found one adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 800 block of North Mangum Street. A second adult male victim had been transported to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Both victims are being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Based on preliminary investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident. This is an active investigation, and no further information can be released at this time.
