Inaugural RaleighWRLD Festival Aims to Highlight Raleigh’s Best

RALEIGH, NC – The inaugural RaleighWRLD Festival seeks to provide a space for Raleigh’s doers and dreamers to share their talents and network with one another. The festival will take place on August 6th from 2-8 pm at Dorothea Dix Park’s Flowers Field in Raleigh.

The all-ages festival will feature several experiences for any type of attendee. The event will begin with the Oak experience, a luxury picnic experience reminiscent of The Polo Classic. The segment will feature a picnic atmosphere, special guest HeyTonyTV, and local talent performances and hosts. Attendees can bring their own food or purchase from food trucks on site.

During the Capital experience portion, guests can choose between panel discussions on entrepreneurship, mental health, and estate planning, as well as enjoy local talent performances and DJ sets. A Local Hero award will be presented on stage by radio talent. The night will end with the Main Stage experience, a concert featuring headliners G. Yamazawa and Will Wildfire, and other N.C.-based talent. Other notable acts from this year’s festival lineup include Shame Gang, Ty Harriz, DJ RNB, ForeverJabron, YK Raleigh, and Teia Elaine.

Throughout the event, attendees can shop with unique vendors and take part in interactive displays from partners, including a selfie station. The festival will also have a “Kids Korner” featuring music, crafts, and other activities for little ones. Paid childcare will also be available on site.

“Through the festival, we hope to highlight and celebrate all that makes Raleigh special,” said founder Judaea Morris. “From our innovative entrepreneurs, delectable food trucks, and unique vendors, to amazing talent, the festival aims to make the City of Oaks the star of the show.”

Additionally, the festival seeks to pour into the community through panel discussions and community drives. The panel discussions will provide a platform to discuss mental health, generational wealth, and entrepreneurship. The festival will also conduct formula and backpack drives to help area families in need prepare for the upcoming school year.

Tickets start at $45 for general admission, $10 for teen attendees, and $100 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets include access to the VIP lounge, official festival merch, a dedicated bar and bathrooms, a concierge for food/drink orders, and a meet and greet with artists and special guests. Children 13 and under are free. Attendees can also purchase VIP luxury ticket packages which include all VIP perks and a picnic setup.
