Durham Police Make Arrest In Fatal Saturday Morning Shootings That Appear To Be Related

 DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department has made an arrest in two fatal shootings that occurred on Saturday morning.

At approximately 11:12 a.m. on May 11, 2024, officers responded to a disturbance with a weapon call near the intersection of Southwest Durham Drive and Durham Chapel Hill Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle stopped in the northbound right turn lane on Southwest Durham Drive. An adult female victim was found in the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Jennifer Faith Eno, 32. 

A short time later, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a Durham Police officer who was off duty at the time heard gunshots in the parking lot of a business in the 3700 block of Mount Moriah Road. The officer responded and found an adult male victim in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim killed has been identified as Scott Edward Snyder Jr., 31.

Based on the investigation, the two shooting incidents appear to be related.

Brandon Julius Eno, 32, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with both of these shootings. He is currently being held in the Durham County Jail with no bond.  At least one of the victims is believed to be known to each other. Further information will be released at the appropriate time.
