Durham Public Schools Seniors Earn $77 Million in Scholarships
DURHAM, NC — The Durham Public Schools Class of 2024 has earned $77,116,597.80 in scholarships this year (see table below), $7.6 million more than the amount earned in the 2022-23 school year.
“These Durham Public Schools students personify the term commencement, as they are well-prepared to begin their lives as aspiring young adults who will make tremendous contributions to society. We wish them well,” said Interim Superintendent Catty Moore.
Hillside High School remains the district’s leader in total awards reported, with $26,527,217.80 in scholarships.
