Flagg, Evans Lead Duke Upset Win Over Auburn
DURHAM, N.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball upset No. 2 Auburn Tigers 84-78
Freshman star Cooper Flagg led Duke (6-2) with 22 points, 11 rebounds, four assists on the night. Fellow freshman Isaiah Evans scored a career-high 18 points on 6-8 shooting from three-point range.
The Tigers (7-1) were led by Johni Broome who finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.
This is the first win for Duke over a top-2 non-conference team in the country in Cameron Indoor Stadium since 1992 (vs. Michigan)
Auburn is now 0-5 all-time versus Duke.
Duke will return to action on Sunday, December 8th when they travel to Kentucky to face the Louisville Cardinals at 6 pm.
