Raleigh Police Seek Woman Who Used Stolen Credit Cards to Try Buying $2.6K in Gift Cards

RALEIGH, NC – The Raleigh Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who attempted to use stolen credit cards to purchase approximately $2,600 worth of gift cards at a local store.

The incident occurred on June 12, 2025, and investigators say the woman was caught on surveillance cameras during the transaction. Along with the stolen credit cards, a Taurus 9mm handgun was also reported stolen.

Distinctive Tattoos Could Help Identify Suspect

The suspect has several noticeable tattoos on her right forearm, captured clearly on surveillance footage. Raleigh Police are encouraging anyone who recognizes the woman or her tattoos to come forward.
