Durham, NC –  Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of an 18-year-old man on the 200 block of Marbella Grove Court on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 1:05 p.m. on Sept. 10, officers responded to reports of gunfire at a residence. When they arrived, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities said the incident appears to be isolated, though detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
