Raleigh PD Announces Next Raleigh Hoop Night Date
Join the Raleigh Police Department this Friday evening, August 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at John Chavis Community Center, located at 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, for another edition of “Raleigh Hoop Nights.”
This initiative aligns with one of Chief Boyce’s strategic priorities.
“Raleigh Hoop Nights” is an event focused on community engagement, where youth can connect with officers in their neighborhoods and play basketball in a safe environment.
The Raleigh Police Department will continue to hold events across the city on Friday nights during the summer. They are free to attend and open to teens ages 13-18. Register today by visiting:
