Area League of Women Voters Chapter Launches 2019 Municipal Election Online Voter Tool

Chapel Hill, NC – The League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham, and Chatham counties (LWVODC) has launched VOTE411.org, a comprehensive website providing local election and candidate information. Available September 9, the online information hub for the local 2019 Municipal Elections includes candidate questionnaires, sample ballots, polling locations and early and regular voting dates, locations and times. All candidates in Orange, Durham and Chatham races were invited to participate in VOTE411.org.

Voters can simply enter their address to get a sample ballot that lists all races and candidates that will appear on their ballot, as well as read all participating candidates’ unedited and unabridged answers to questions on important issues.

“VOTE411 is an incredible resource and a fantastic way to help voters access information and make informed decisions,” said Krishna Mondal, president of LWVODC. “Visit the site, put in your address and you will have access to all your pertinent voting information, plus many candidates’ responses to questions of importance to voters.”
