Just hopping on the national scene in recent years, Tesh is showing the Hip Hop world that there is still more fire to be added behind her name. In 2019, Tesh released Yellow Jacket as a Hip Hop/Rap album. This year Yellow Jacket 2 was dropped on the same music streaming services, (Apple, Soundcloud, and YouTube), as the perfect sequel to the 2019 album.

Tesh, who plays several instruments including the guitar and trumpet, started creating music in high school with a group called “The Cr3w” in 2010. In 2013 she began to develop as a solo artist while attending Winston Salem State University (WSSU).

A talented musician, Tesh is also a gifted athlete. During her high school career, the North Carolina native currently based in Raleigh, NC, won the state championship in the triple jump. She attended WSSU on an athletic scholarship and in 2018 received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Media Studies.

After graduation, Tesh continued to hone her skills further as a solo artist. She has performed at major events alongside many legendary artists like Erykah Badu, Nas, T.I., Migos at The Annual Hot97ATL Birthday Bash (Atlanta), Art of Cool Festival  (Durham, NC), and NC Juneteenth Celebration (Durham, NC).

TeshYellow Jacket 2 consists of a 12-track list for a 32-minute vibe session. This is the perfect go-to album for that long drive to anywhere and nowhere. From “Bees N Things” to “1 Thing,” she cultivated this album with a wide arrangement of beats that allows listeners to see her in many different forms. Songs like “VSOP” and “Never Settle”  display that ease to make any beat her own.

Like her album name states, Tesh is the yellow jacket that will be pollinating the musical world with her style. Tesh also released a music video for a song on the album, “Friday.” In the music video, Tesh is having a small party with friends and enjoying life because it is Friday. The chorus is an instant anthem that will now be sung every Friday right at 8 am.

yeah my way, my way, my way, keep on having my way

This is only just the beginning of Tesh having everything her way and now you can keep up with it. Check out these two albums on any music streaming platform along with other music!
