Biden-Harris Administration Opens Special Enrollment Period On HealthCare.gov
WASHINGTON – On February 15th, the Biden-Harris Administration opened HealthCare.gov and CuidadoDeSalud.gov for a special enrollment period until May 15th to provide all Americans the opportunity to sign up for health insurance coverage amid the pandemic. She said, “President Biden’s actions to expand access to health care through the Affordable Care Act will be a lifeline for potentially millions during their time of need, protecting the health and financial security of those who have lost their health insurance through no fault of their own.” She went on to mention the death and infection figures caused by COVID-19 and that the advancing Biden American Rescue Plan will help fight this pandemic.
