Season Finale Of TV One’s “Sins Of The City” Examines Devastating Murder Of Tyre Nichols

The season finale of Sins Of The City will air on Monday, November 13, at 10 p.m. ET on TV One. In 2023, tensions in Memphis exploded when 29-year-old Tyre Nichols died, allegedly at the hands of a rogue unit within the Memphis PD.

Activists took to the streets, igniting a furious backlash to a problem that has plagued the city for centuries. The five police officers involved, all of whom are also Black, were fired and later charged with various state felonies, including second-degree murder. In September, the Justice Department announced that a grand jury had indicted the five men on federal civil rights, conspiracy, and obstruction offenses.

As this tragic story rises to the surface again with the accused officers retracing their pleas, you won’t want to miss this introspective look at this unnerving case this Monday, November 13, at 10 p.m. ET.
