MTV’s Wild’N Out Veteran, Actor, and Comedian Emmanuel ‘Eman’ Hudson Visits NCCU

DURHAM, NC – The Leadership in Entertainment and the Arts Program (L.E.A.P.) at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) returns for the Spring 2024 academic year with actor and comedian Emmanuel ‘Eman’ Hudson at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 29. Hudson will take the stage in place of the initially scheduled artist, CeeLo Green, adding his unique style to the program.  

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the NCCU Student Center Event Hall at 500 Nelson St.

Hudson boasts an illustrious career that includes being a celebrated veteran of MTV’s “Wild’N Out” and featuring in the comedy “#DigitalLivesMatter.” Moreover, his talents have been highlighted on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, appearing in web series such as “Dead House,” “Blind Basketball,” and the Netflix original movie “Step Sisters.” Hudson has also co-starred in two seasons of the web series “Put You On,” produced by Nike and Uninterrupted, and in Revolt’s Original Series “Receipts.” His role as SpringHill Production’s red-carpet host for the movie premiere of “House Party” further underscores his versatility and charisma in the entertainment industry. 

Hudson has amassed over 3.3 million organic followers on Instagram, 1.94 million subscribers on YouTube, a million fans on Facebook, and 930,000 followers on TikTok, accumulating over a million likes. Known for his quick wit and ability to deftly navigate disputes, Hudson continues to be a prominent figure in the digital and entertainment landscapes. 

Created by NCCU alumnus and Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated artist Marcus Anderson, L.E.A.P. provides exclusive behind-the-scenes perspectives to NCCU students that help prepare them for a career in the entertainment industry. Delivered in three components, the talks meld the spontaneity and community of in-person interactions with leading entertainment influencers with the self-paced structure of online delivery of the fundamentals of the field.
