Saint Augustine’s University Homecoming: “BWE: The Blue & White Experience”
RALEIGH, NC – The Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) Homecoming has changed to “BWE: The Blue & White Experience” and will take place Oct. 16 – Oct. 22.
Homecoming week (Oct. 16 – Oct. 22) is chock full of events. On Sunday October 16th there is a Disease & Disorder Awareness Color Run, Young Alumni Council Fish Fry and a Gospel Explosion hosted by Christian Fellowship. Monday BWE goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness and will bring World Music Night to the Emery Gymnasium.
“Turn Up with the Greeks” will take place on Tuesday in the Greek Plots. The fashionistas will show out on Wednesday with a Rip the Runway Teaser during the day and a fashion show that evening. Alumni will begin to check in on Wednesday and Thursday.
Thursday is about networking off-campus with the SAU Falcon Hour and Falcon Hospitality at the Hilton North Raleigh. A Wine & Design event for Young Alumni will be held downtown Raleigh. Back on campus the highlight of the day is the Mr. & Miss Saint Augustine’s University Coronation and Reception.
Friday and Saturday should just be called “Turnt Up” BWE. On Friday there are two Golf Tournaments, crowning of Miss SAU Alumni, the BWE Greek Step Show, and BWE Concert and After Party. Saturday is the Homecoming Football Game where SAU will take on Fayetteville State. That day also includes the Ultimate Falcon Tailgate Party, Homecoming Parade, Alumni Gospel Concert, Reunion Falcon Caberet, Pre-Dawn dance and Chicken & Waffles at 3 am.
