[VIDEO] Duke RB Deon Jackson Discusses Team Mood Following Alabama
DURHAM, NC – On Saturday, August 31, Duke fell to second-ranked Alabama, who was coming out to make a statement and rebuild their brand. In the process of reestablishing the Bama dynasty, the Blue Devils were dragged through the mud before eventually the clock hit zeroes and the scoreboard read 42-3 in favor of the powerhouse program.
For junior running back Deon Jackson, the Bama game was more than just an over-hyped kickoff game, it was a homecoming. The Atlanta, Georgia-native was excited to take on the challenge of facing a tough opponent in a familiar area with family and friends in attendance.
I caught up with Deon to discuss his mood after the game and how his team would be looking to respond against North Carolina A&T on Saturday.
