A quiet Henderson neighborhood was shaken Monday night (Feb. 9) after two teenagers — ages 13 and 17 — were found dead inside a home on Torri Drive, prompting an active investigation by the Vance County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded shortly before 9:40 p.m. to a call for service at a residence located off Hicksboro Road. What they encountered has left family members and the broader community grappling with heartbreak and uncertainty.

What Authorities Confirmed

According to Vance County Sheriff Curtis Brame, law enforcement and emergency personnel arrived at the home and located two juveniles who were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
