“We’re excited about bringing the “tropical” luxury shopping and dining experience for which we have known the world over outside of Bal Harbour for the first time in our nearly 60-year history,” said Matthew Whitman Lazenby, President and Chief Executive Officer of Whitman Family Development and the fourth generation owner of his family business. “Our loyal customer expects only the finest and most exclusive retailers, the most up-to-date fashion, and, of course, an inimitable al fresco dining experience to enjoy the moment with others. With this roving Pop-up, we introduce a new and innovative solution at the crossroads of high-touch personal service and high-tech logistics to deliver on our mission and impact and impress our guests with our distinctive level of excellence.”

This Raleigh pop-up will be the first time ever that the Bal Harbour-based luxury shopping location, a favorite celebrity-loved destination in the most northern tip of Miami Beach, has chosen to take its extremely coveted luxury experience on the road.

The ACCESS Pop-Up stop in Raleigh, in fact, marks the first stop on a multi-city shopping and dining activation that will bring the signature experience of Bal Harbour to a larger audience to enjoy the unique mix of luxury, fashion, and dining that only Bal Harbour Shops can provide. Future pop-up locations include Greenville, South Carolina, and in Tequesta and South Walton County, in Southeast and Northwest Florida, respectively.

At a time when traditional retail is challenged as online shopping has gained popularity, Bal Harbour Shops is betting on the “wow factor” that shoppers will get to experience in person at the Bal Harbour Shops ACCESS Pop-Up. By captivating the imagination of consumers, the forward-thinking luxury brand is positive that this is truly the future of retail.
