R&B/Soul singer/songwriter Cameen has been selected the Spectacular Magazine Artist of the Week for the week of April 20, 2020. The Brooklyn-born artist, currently based in New England, lives by the principles of always respecting others’ time, never making excuses and don’t be lazy. He developed his singing ability while working closely with his cousin, prolific jazz session bass player William Allen. Cameen’s diverse range of musical influences has led to a reputation for being extremely versatile; his over-all catalog reflects a plethora of diverse sounds.
Cameen completed his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sociology from Rivier University (New Hampshire), having preciously attended St.John’s University of Queens, New York. Upon graduating he started a small business entitled CKC Entertainment Group LLC/CC Elite Urban Wear. The company freely promotes and supports social events, their clothing line and charities of all kinds. Cameen was a St. Jude award recipient for his tireless work and support of the organization.
On April 24th, Cameen is releasing his next single titled “Don’t Know” on all music platforms. The song is a reminder that you never need a special occasion to make your lover feel appreciated, and that romance can be found anywhere at any time.
REVIEW: “Don’t Know” by Cameen
This song has an old school R&B feel to it, which is something that I think listeners will appreciate. I think the artists’ intended audience is female because the lyrics are so romantic and intimate, which women enjoy. The hook is also a very catchy part of the song. “Don’t Know” should do well on charts and I can’t wait for the video.
