Luncheon Honoring Women Features Deborah Ross as Speaker
In honor of Women’s History Month, The Aura Galleria is sponsoring a luncheon at which women who have and who are making historical strives in the Greater Triangle area will recognized and honored. The event “Women of Valor” will be a powerful luncheon honoring influential women paving the way in education, medicine, social justice, science, civics, fashion and beauty and more.
Join us for a powerful message by the keynote speaker, the Honorable Deborah Ross, attorney and former NC State Representative, as she challenges us to ignite “Our Minds, Our Voices.” While practicing law and teaching law at Duke University, Deborah served in North Carolina’s State House from 2003-2013. As a representative, she worked to grow North Carolina’s economy, support small businesses, increase access to quality public education, and improve our state’s infrastructure.
Dr. Michelle Laws, former Executive Director of NC NAACP, will serve as the moderator and Juanita Massenburg, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. South Atlantic Regional Director, will serve as award presenter.
